On 20th May 2015, in the big hall of the Municipality of Stip was held fourth informative event with the private sector of East Planning Region as part of the activities under the project “Forming a business center for support and consultation services for small and medium enterprises in East Planning region”.
The event was opened by Mrs. Dragica Zdraveva, Director of the Centre for Development of East Planning Region.
Topics at the event were:
- Presentation of the program for support of the export for SMEs and awareness among domestic companies for the benefit from export activities- (Ms. Milica Zivkovska, Head of promotion and export departmen, the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion in the Republic of Macedonia);
- Presentation of support which Chamber of Commerce gives to companies in export activities and priorities that they have for SMEs – (Ms. Jadranka Arizankovska , Senior Advisor in Directorate for Regional Chambers of of Commerce and International Cooperation of the Republic of Macedonia);
- Presentation of the needs of SMEs and the process for inclusion of local suppliers in the production process – Description of the company’s Supplier Relationship Management- (Mr Alexander Kotzev, Coordinator for interactive procurement in the company Johnson Controls);
- Presentation of the needs of SMEs and the process for inclusion of local suppliers in the production process, benefit from successful export activities – Description of the company’s Supplier Relationship Management – (Mrs. Emilia Churevska representative of the company ArcelorMittal).
After completion of all presentations, there were B2G meetings between interested representatives from the private sector and representatives from the Agency for SDI, Chamber of Commerce, Johnson Controls and ArcelorMittal.
