On 23th September 2015, in the great hall of the Municipality of Shtip was held the fifth informative event with the private sector of the East planning region in the framework of the project “Establishment of a business center for support and consulting services for small and medium enterprises in East planning reegion”.
The main goal of the event under the project was to increase and improve the competitiveness of the planning regions by supporting SMEs and entrepreneurship, which is also a strategic priority in the Programme for development of the East planning region.
The event was attended by representatives from: SMEs, entrepreneurs, associations and foundations, unemployed, craftsmen, traders, members of clusters and students.
The event with a greeting message was opened by Mr. Alexander Nikolov, from the Centre for Development of East Planning Region. Speaker at the event was Ms. Slavyanka Pejcinovska-Andonovska, from the company Eco Puzzle (Eko Mozaik). Moderator of the event was Ms. Meglena Dimitrova from the company Knowledge Center.
Ms. Pejcinovska-Andonovska addressed the audience with three presentations with the subject “Environment”, and at the start remained the Green agenda for the development of your business where the audience talked about the management of the environment and cleaner production.
The second presentation processed on the topic “What are your environmental aspects and how manage them”. In this presentation, emphasis was placed on the Programme for waste management and its detailed elaboration.
The third presentation of Mrs. Pejcinovska-Andonovska concerned the topic “Your hotel is unique – it has eco-label” with detail explaination of ecological labeling, which is a new tool for providing sustainable development and boost of the tourist facilities.
After completing all the speeches, and break for lunch cocktail, meetings were held between all stakeholders from the private sector and representatives from Eco Puzzle.
At lunch time, at the end of this event, there was a survey for measuring the satisfaction of participants. The results showed that most of the participants were very pleased with the presentations of the representatives of Eco Mosaic and the hall where the event was held. The organization of the event and served food were assessed as excellent by most of participants. Almost all of the participants said they would again attended this type of event in the future.
On the next event the participatnt would like a meeting with the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Agriculture and utilities, and much more involvement of the private sector.
