Center for Development of East Planning Region in collaboration with the Training Center of the Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA), the Department for Coordination of European Funds and other foreign aid in SEA within the twinning project, on 18th May 2017 ( Thursday) at Hotel Izgrev in Stip organized a one-day training on “Strengthening the capacity of the EU”.
The purpose of the workshop was to present programs for EU funding allocated to institutions, civil society and the private sector as well as to present the activities of the Training Center of the Secretariat on issues of Macedonia.
The event was attended by representatives of the Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA), Center of Excellence, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia as well as partners within the Twinning project, municipalities, people from NGOs, SMEs, entrepreneurs, NGOs and foundations, craftsmen, traders, agricultural sector, members of clusters and networks and potential foreign and domestic investors.
Topics at the event were:
- Presentation of IPA I and IPA II: Opportunities for municipalities and regional stakeholders,
- Presentation of the training for EU regional level: A Case Study of Croatia
- Presentation of the Training Center of the SEA.
Upon completion of all presentations are held B2G meetings between interested representatives of Municipalities and private sector representatives from the Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA) and the Center of Excellence, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.
