The Business Center at the Center for Development of the East Planning Region together with the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, organized an info session to present the conditions for applying for the open public call for funding under the support instrument “Co-financed grants for start-ups and spin companies The info session was held on May 20 (Thursday) 2021 starting at 11 am through the ZOOM platform. The event was attended by about 60 participants from micro, small and medium enterprises.
Through this instrument, FITR provides financial support for start-ups and spin-off companies, and the funds received are non-refundable, which is another serious incentive for Macedonian startups.
The Fund will provide up to:
- 40,000 euros (90%) of the total project budget for companies up to 3 years of existence, ie
- 60,000 euros (85%) of the total budget of a company project with more than 3 and less than 6 years of existence.
The purpose of this call is the transformation of the start-up ecosystem and the creation of a competitive and strong system that will have a huge positive impact on the domestic economy and will contribute to its internationalization.
Part of the activities supported by the Fund are financing of: development of pilot lines, product or service, testing and validation activities, testing activities.
